Taking Chances

On April 4,2008 I took the chance of a lifetime to own my very own house. Follow along as I take chances in rehabbing a house with limited skills learned from growing up. I'm sure there will be some tears shed, blood & bruises, and lots of sweat....but isn't that what life is all about? Taking risks(chances) on something you never imagined possible.

Quick Update

Here is some progress pictures- this one shows the future place of the toilet and shower
This used to be an open room with no wall
My favorite feature of the bathroom-skylight in the shower
I now have a window above my back door that was originally covered up
My family came to visit and decided to create more destruction by tearing down the wall dividing the two rooms
This used to be the door frame for the den/middle bedroom
The new hallway to the master bedroom
The double sink vanity in the new master bathroom
This is what the tin ceiling looks like minus ceiling tiles

My dad took down a wall twice this size to make a smaller one for more room to get in the front door
